The Windmills (Kato Milli)
The Windmills of Kato Milli are situated southwest of Mykonos right near the sea. Due to its position, the windmills were a major trading center. It was a necessary position for traders in order to refine grain and compact the grain for travel and for distribution. Between the early 17th to 19th centuries, these mills were a major factor to the prosperity of commerce on the island. Unfortunately, their use came into decline with the advancement of technology.

Parthenon
The Partnenon is the temple dedicated to the Greek goddess, Athena, the patron of Athens. In 447 BC, construction began of this hugh, signifying structure and was completed in 432 BC. It is the most important monumentous sculptures and considered to be the founding point of Greek Art and Athenian democracy.
