Each of us knows Alice, a nice girl who visited Wonderland and went a long way, going through discoveries and miracles of an enigmatic dreamland and returning back home. Created about 150 years ago, she still remains an interesting character for all of us.

In the early 20th century, the daughter of Theodore Roosevelt wears an imitation of Alice in Wonderland’s
 blue dress. She chose this outfit for her father’s inauguration as US president in 1904.
  
The 1951 Disney cartoon brings back Victorian example of dress.

In 1966, there was a television film directed by Jonathan Miller that represented Alice as an adult, a critical observer of the cruelties of the adult world.
